Mexico City, the country's grand and exciting capital, will begin this tour; you will visit the historic center and one of the most important anthropological museums in the world, you will stroll on Reforma and get lost in the Chapultepec forest, before admiring the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon in the archaeological area of Tehotihuacan. It will then be the turn of Cholula with the homonymous pyramid and the Iglesia de Los Remedios, all surrounded by the Popocateptl and Iztacccihuatl volcanoes and, of Puebla, a calm and relaxing city, where you will visit its historic center, a UNESCO cultural heritage with its 364 churches, the Zapotec archaeological site of Monte Alban will welcome you before reaching the city of Oaxaca, crossroads of the Spanish conquistadors. You will get to know its typical barrios and the production of Mezcal, before leaving the state and heading to San Cristobal de Las Casas. Chiapas will conquer you with its effervescent and luxuriant nature, with its indigenous communities and their still current customs and with its Mayan culture, which you will begin to discover with the archaeological site of Palenque. You will continue to Villahermosa, capital of the state of Tabasco, with the experience of visiting a cocoa hacienda, before officially entering the Yucatan peninsula. You will visit Campeche with its pastel-colored buildings, the archaeological site of Uxmal symbol of rue Puuc, the white city Merida famous for the production of hammocks up to the sight of one of the seven wonders of the world, Chichen Itza. It is time to leave the State of Yucatan for that of Quintana Roo, which will be able to fascinate you not only with the exciting archaeological site of Tulum, the only one on the sea, but also with its white beaches and, undoubtedly, with a delightful gastronomy.
