Colorful, eclectic, historical, modern, vibrant and cosmopolitan are just some of the innumerable adjectives that you can use to describe Mexico City, the starting point of this tour. The state's capital will be able to move you with the warmth of the people and their traditions. Be prepared to explore its history and ancient origins. You will then visit Tehotihuacán, known for its incredible Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, which are surrounded by a mystical atmosphere. You will also visit the beautiful pre-Columbian site of El Tajin in the Veracruz state, and in the following days you will visit the Zapotecan cultural sites of Mitla and the fascinating Monte Albán.
You will visit the Veracruz state, which is known for the ‘Totonaca’ , the ‘Voladores de Papantla' and the ‘jarocha’ culture. You will then take a walk among the colorful streets of Xalapa (the capital of the state), discover the city centre of Veracruz (the most important harbour of the country), and admire the stunning Orizaba, immersed in a magical valley.
Oaxaca will surprise you from the first moment you see it. Its typical barrios, the Hiverve el Agua, the natural wonders of the Tule tree, the mezcal and its unique gastronomy... these are all the elements that will reveal the true essence of ‘Alma de Mexico’ in all its power through the traditions it represents.
Time to relax at the beach with Huatulco. The numerous 9 bays and 36 beaches, many of which can only be reached by sea, make it an exceptionally fascinating destination. Zipolite, Mazunte, Zicatela, are the three stops that will take you to Puerto Escondido, where you will free a small turtle on the beach, allowing it to walk until it reaches the sea, an experience that will fill you with emotion.
